About INDUS General Studies Academy

Why the name

Indian history, and every General Studies syllabus, begins with the Indus Valley. The name stands for the same thing we want our teaching to stand for: starting from the foundations and building upward with care.

What we focus on

We prepare students for every competitive exam with a General Studies paper: UPSC Civil Services, the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh public service commission exams, and police and other state recruitment tests. The national syllabus is taught in full, and state topics such as the Telangana movement and Andhra Pradesh's history and reorganisation get the depth state papers demand.

How we work with students

We begin by understanding the exam, the student's current preparation and the time available. Together we set focused weekly goals, review practice and make adjustments when the plan needs to change. Our aim is to make preparation steady, explainable and personal.

At the centre is personal mentorship. Our mentors have faced the UPSC interview, and candidates who cleared UPSC share how they prepared. Each student gets a plan for their own exam, reviewed regularly, with material in English and Telugu.
